Biography A pneumatic blonde model and Playboy playmate turned actor, Pamela Lee (also billed as Pamela Anderson and Pamela Anderson Lee) had co-starring roles on "Home Improvement" and "Baywatch", which meant she had two of the biggest hits on TV. She received her first break after an accidental appearance on the stadium screen at a British Columbia Lions football game where she appeared in a Labatts beer shirt. The shrewd company quickly signed the photogenic Canadian to star in an ad campaign as the "Blue Zone Girl". Sexy Anderson next moved to L.A. where she appeared on sitcoms and began posing in PLAYBOY. To date, she has appeared on the cover six times. Pammy's big-screen ambitions have taken a while to get off the ground: before her TV fame, she played a cheerleader in the crime thriller "The Taking of Beverly Hills" (1991). Parlaying her "Baywatch" success, she starred in the straight-to-video thrillers "Snapdragon" (1993) and "Raw Justice" (1994). Big-screen fame arrived with the big-budget, unintentionally hilarious "Barb Wire" (1996), with the tattooed, rubber-clad Anderson as the futuristic comic-book heroine of the title showing her large breasts in lots of hot nude scenes. |
