Biography Luxuriant dark hair and an English rose blush have helped to make this sexy actress a queen of TV-movies and mini-series. (She can be seen naked at this free site) From her early TV starring roles, Bathsheba in "The Story of David" (1976), Eva Meyers in "Seventh Avenue" (1977), and Cathy and Kate Ames in "East of Eden" (1981), Seymour frequently played the classy tart. She continued her persona of the gilded harlot in the 1980s as a French ambassador's wife in the miniseries "Crossings" (1986), offered a star turn as Natalie in the follow-up to "The Winds of War", "War and Remembrance" (1988 and 1989), and played an amnesia victim in "Sidney Sheldon's Memories of Midnight" (1991). Her film work has been somewhat lackluster in comparison, with Seymour faring best in an early role in the James Bond flick, "Live and Let Die" (1973) and in the cult classic "Somewhere in Time" opposite Christopher Reeve (1980), but later floundering in "Battlestar Galactica" (1978) and "Oh Heavenly Dog" (1980). Seymour found a secondary home on the small screen in the title role of the popular CBS series "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (1993-1998). Her first husband was British stage director Michael Attenborough (son of Richard) and her fourth husband is producer-director-actor James Keach, with whom she has collaborated on several TV-movies. |
