Biography

Cindy is the most photographed, recognized, and highest paid model in the World (she can be seen naked at this free site). She has appeared on over 400 magazine covers across the globe. Cindy became the first modern supermodel to pose nude for Playboy, and whether modeling with or without clothes, she is a stunning woman. She has made a smooth transition from the world of fashion into broadcast journalism and corporate business.

Crawford was born and raised in DeKalb, Illinois. She was her high school valedictorian with exceptional grades. She was awarded a scholarship and attended Northwestern University, where she studied chemical engineering. She spent two summers of modeling, represented by Elite Model Management in Chicago, which lead her to supermodel success in New York. Cindy became Mrs. Rande Gerber in 1998, and the couple has one son, Presley Walker.

She has numerous film and television credits and is the author of Cindy Crawford's Basic Face, a make-up workbook published by Broadway Books. Cindy has very successfully made the transition from the designer catwalks to the profession of broadcast journalism with MTV's acclaimed "House of Style", which she has hosted for six years.
